I stayed at Haus Rameil for an overnight stay and was very satisfied overall. My single room was simple, but perfectly adequate. The service in the evening was very courteous despite the long walk to the beer garden. I didn't eat anything myself, but all the dishes that were carried past looked very generous and were eaten with pleasure. The breakfast buffet was plentiful - everyone is sure to find something for a good start to the day. Personally, the coffee was a bit too strong for me - and I like to drink and a lot of coffee (black) Saalhausen is a very interesting start / finish point for cyclists: You are right on the Sauerland-Radring, but you can also take the Hennesee loop with you from Bremke (highly recommended, great route). For more intensive tours you can of course also go from Saalhausen to z. B. Hilchenbach, Jagdhaus or Winterberg.

Rustic, but comfortable, very child friendly, reasonably priced and delicious, friendly staff, always come back to you.

the single rooms are not recommended, as not renovated (ancient carpet) and stale old and scuffed doors with unsafe beard locks (room door also) - easy to crack !! - does not work today! the bathroom was tiny - you could not fall over; with green plastic shower cabin and sink from the 70`s :-( the description of the (single) room and the breakfast buffet not in the least - here is the time stopped in the 70`s and therefore much too expensive - that is much better friendly hard-working staff, good menu with children's menu, reasonable prices, on Thursday was grilled - very delicious

Have spontaneously returned to the food here. The food was totally delicious with all of us six peoples. The service was also very friendly and attentive. If again, then here 👍🏻

Clean rooms. Eat good. Nice personel. No luxury but nice and cozy.

Actually 5 *, but here I have to subtract 1 *. The home-style and fresh food tasted great. The steaks and the meat platter dishes are highly recommended. Schnitzel dishes were ok. Unfortunately the boss was alone in the kitchen and the waiting time was quite long. In the fireplace room the fireplace was unfortunately not on. This would have been a nice ambience, especially in winter.

The reception was very nice. The room tiptop clean. The location of the room right on the street is not great. For one night was fine. The breakfast was more for men. Little choice with the cheese and no Körnerbrötchen.

Very nice people there, good location in the Sauerland and really good food. Even if the rooms (at least mine) are getting pretty old, the price is reasonable. You can sit in the beer garden. There is a lot of space.

No fridge in room, no place to cook. We slept for 2 days at 'Haus Rameil' in Saalhausen, unfortunately the room got cleaned between the 2 days without asking for permission (money, laptop and valuable stuff was inside) Either, breakfast from 8-10 am, was pretty well organised, personally asked for what to drink. Rooms were clean either, bathrooms too. Asked to turn on wifi 2 times, nothing changed, not attempted to turn on wifi, later on I asked the houselady, and then it worked in a minute. Enjoyed our stay, was positive for €70 a night,
